Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role located in Los Angeles, CA. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including managing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing budgets and forecasts. The role involves supervising accounting staff, monitoring financial performance, optimizing financial processes, and contributing to strategic financial planning to support company objectives.QualificationsStrong accounting and financial reporting skills, including knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparationExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisProficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills and with Netsuite (preferred) or Quickbooks expert is fine.Knowledge of tax compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements related to financial managementExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with cross-functional departmentsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is preferred)Previous experience in an accounting or finance leadership role
