Our golden rule: "The customer is the most important person in all our stores."Job PurposeEvery Food Service Lead is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the Food Service Department within company policy in such a manner as to ensure that the department is profitable and maintains the highest level of quality and customer service.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral ManagementEnsures that the food service department is open and ready for business during all hours for which the department is scheduled to be openEffectively schedules associates to meet business demands using fixed scheduleGives all customers prompt and courteous serviceEffectively communicates with store associates and managementFollows all federal, state and local laws and ordinances pertaining to the operation of the departmentProvides a role model of conduct for other associates in the storeControls variable expenses of the departmentEnsure all associates are in proper uniform and providing prompt, courteous customer serviceBookkeepingEnsures all paperwork is done accurately and in a timely mannerMaintains inventory and loss within company guidelinesConducts inventories as directed by managementEnsures all associates are properly recording all hours workedHuman ResourcesTreats all associates with dignity and respect and uses the proper personnel management techniquesEnsures that all associates receive breaksAdvises Store Manager of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performanceTrains all new Associates on proper completion of their job dutiesSecurityEnsures all associate shift procedures are followedEnsures a safe shopping and working environmentEnsures all safety rules are followed and protective equipment usedMerchandisingEnsures current sign program is posted on the date the program beginsEnsures current plan-o-grams being usedCommunicates with the Division Manager any special needs or requestEffectively orders merchandise to prevent out of stocks and maintain proper inventory levels as directedMaintenanceEnsures the food service appearance reflects company expectations and standardsAll food service display cases and glass are cleanReports any maintenance problems that cannot be corrected immediately without assistance to the store managerEnsures all food service areas are kept clean and follows all sanitation proceduresSafetyEnsures that ladders are properly usedEnsures that lifting procedures are followed per company policyEnsures that wet floor signs are used, per company policyReports accidents promptly to the Store Manager and corporate officeHuck's Bucks Loyalty AppActively promote the Huck's Bucks Loyalty app to customersCommunicate to customers the benefits of signing up and using the appMonitor transactions for potential misuse of points or discountsAssist customers on how to sign up and use the app for discounts and redemptionBenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurances, ESOP, 401K with match, paid time off, and paid holidays.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development within a growing company.Employee discounts for food and fuel.The Requirements, Duties, and Responsibilities list is incomplete but is merely the most accurate list for the current job.
