Our client is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support large-scale industrial and energy projects at sites worldwide.As a Commissioning Engineer, you will supervise and coordinate on-site installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for international industrial projects. You will work closely with contractors, suppliers, clients, and internal project teams to ensure all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and according to technical specifications.You will oversee construction and commissioning activities across mechanical, piping, structural, and instrumentation disciplines, ensuring compliance with drawings, procedures, and quality standards. In addition, you will support testing activities, manage punch lists, prepare progress reports, and help resolve technical deviations during project execution.The role requires strong coordination skills, technical insight, and a proactive mindset. You will contribute to a safe working environment while supporting successful project delivery at international locations.Our client offers a challenging international position within a professional and multicultural project environment, including opportunities for growth, flexibility, and collaboration with experienced technical specialists.What do you need:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Installation Engineering, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction, commissioning, or start-up activities within industrial or energy projectsExperience in EPC or turnkey projects is preferredStrong technical understanding of mechanical systems, piping, steel structures, and industrial installationsAffinity with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control equipmentAbility to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and 3D modelsExperience preparing reports and technical documentationStrong communication and coordination skillsFluent in Dutch and English, both written and spokenWillingness to work internationally for extended periodsStrong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
