Workday Migration Consultant / Tier 1 Support AnalystRemote | Part-Time / Full-Time OptionProject OverviewOur client is seeking a Workday professional to support both Workday migration activities and Tier 1 Workday support operations.The primary requirement is for a Migration Consultant working 20 hours per week. Candidates with additional Workday support experience can also take on an extra 20 hours per week providing Tier 1 Helpdesk support, bringing the role to a full 40-hour work week.Migration Consultant Responsibilities (20 Hours / Week)Lead execution of end-to-end ERP / Workday data migrations using established company migration processesCoordinate data extracts, data loads, validations, and reconciliations across Workday modules and connected upstream/downstream systemsExecute Workday data loads including EIBs, reports, and conversion activitiesSupport mock conversions, testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live activitiesTrack migration tasks, issues, dependencies, and risks, escalating where requiredSupport post-go-live stabilization activities and ensure migrated data accuracy and audit readinessTier 1 Workday Helpdesk Responsibilities (Additional/Optional 20 Hours / Week)Act as the first point of contact for Workday-related support requests via ServiceNowProvide guidance on Workday navigation, functionality, and basic troubleshooting across Workday HCM modulesAssist users with password resets, login issues, and general system access supportSupport EIB-related activities and user-based security role reassignmentsDocument and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and follow-upEscalate unresolved or complex issues to Tier 2 support or Workday functional teamsMaintain knowledge base articles and FAQs for recurring Workday issuesEnsure compliance with company policies and data security standards when handling sensitive informationRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years’ experience supporting Workday HCMHands-on experience with Workday EIBs and data loading activitiesExperience providing Workday user support in a helpdesk or support environmentFamiliarity with Workday security role assignments and user administrationExperience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systemsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentNice to HavePrevious Workday migration or implementation experienceExposure to testing, cutover, and post-go-live supportExperience supporting multiple Workday modulesAdditional InformationCore requirement: 20 hours/week focused on Workday migrationOpportunity to increase to 40 hours/week with Tier 1 support responsibilitiesRemote working opportunityImmediate / ASAP start preferred
