This role will work directly with research staff at all levels, hospital support service departments and external vendors in furtherance of program goals. Where needed, the Research Program Coordinator will also work to both assist in the development and implement trainings for both research staff and support service departments.The Research Project Coordinator also plays an integral role in the day-to-day support of all research spaces as related to their support service department needs and interactions.QualificationsPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:Under the guidance of the Research Program Manager and Director of Research Space Planning, assist with identifying opportunities for program creation and implementation across all research spacesAssist in the development of program plans, teams and work assignments and direct the work efforts in furtherance of implementation each programWork as the liaison to facilitate meetings between stakeholdersTrack and document project progress Develop communications to the research community and/or support services departmentsCreate deliverables as related to each program, including best practices and SOPsAuditing the implementation and results of each program for purposes of revision and complianceMaintain any necessary databases for all programs, including related support documentation, communications and results Advocates for research staff in matters related to the hospital maintenance and support of their spaceWork directly with support service departments and external vendors to ensure proper support given to research spaceProvide needed follow-up on any space related support issues Work with counterparts across the MGB network to advocate for BWH and establish best practices under PHS-wide programsOther duties as assignedEducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?NoExperienceAdministrative or program support experience 3-5 years requiredKnowledge, Skills And Abilities Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping and data entry. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A high degree of independent action and adherence to strict timelines is required.Additional Job Details (if Applicable)Working ConditionsBoth office and laboratory settings with the possibility of work in mechanical spaces.
