Human Resources Generalist
Chief of Staff KC has a client seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Generalist to join a small, but collaborative, team. This role will be the HR hub for an organization in the area that has operating companies across the US and Canada. You will own day-to-day HR operations while also supporting light accounting data-entry tasks, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and cross-functional work.Key Responsibilities include:Human Resources (Primary Focus)Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for all facility employeesManage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processesCoordinate and facilitate employee training programsSupport recruitment efforts for open positions at the facilityAdminister and maintain employee records in UKG (HRIS/payroll system)Process plant payroll and ensure accuracy and timelinessHandle benefits administration and open enrollment supportEnsure HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsAct as a resource for employee relations questions and escalate issues as appropriateIdentify opportunities to better leverage UKG's HR capabilities and lead related improvement projectsAccounting Support (Secondary Focus)Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsPerform data entry in the company's ERP systemAssist with bank reconciliationsSupport basic inventory tracking and reportingProvide backup support for routine accounting tasks as neededThis would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, established company with a collaborative and supportive culture.
