Position SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for the following warehouse activities, including but not limited to: receiving, fullcase orders, repack stock, and fullcase stock.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive supplier shipments
Pick customer orders
Operate forklifts or other equipment
Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
Operate a handheld scanner
Obtaining power equipment certifications, electric power jack, walker/rider, and forklift
Meet and exceed quality and production standards
Ability to take direction from management
Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines
Ensures Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times
Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements and QualificationsHigh School diploma preferred
Knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), or other platforms
Excellent attendance record
Must be willing and able to work overtime
Good comprehension and organizational skills
Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
Power Equipment certification is a plus
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Physical RequirementsMust have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position
Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and 75lbs rarely
Ability to complete the physical assessment at the Material Handler II level
