Role descriptionJob Role : Validation Engineer or Electrical EngineerJob Location : Santa Clara CAShift Timings Regular Day ShiftMon - FriEducation QualificationCandidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronics Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field Industrial experience in related fields is preferred.Job SkillsGood understanding of Computer Server Architecture both Hw SW Stack.Experience with CPU or other logic or analog device debug process.Experience with test execution test data triaging test content development validation is a plus.Proven experience in scripting Python Bash CC programming.Familiarity with new product Power On Firmware Kernel OS Linux Workload VMWare Linux SPDK MPP Virtual Switch is a plus.Server System validation experience is a plus.Job Duties ResponsibilitiesPerform test bench set ups necessary to execute validation tests.Perform test equipment calibrations to ensure test integrity.Execute validation test cases and summarize test results for evaluating proper device functionality.Create DOEs based on Validation Requirements to ensure data integrity and proper device functionality.Collect and analyze CPU performance data in comparison to spec and develop spec compliance prediction model UPM analysis.Perform failure analysis and initial triage of failure mechanisms and support silicon debug efforts to find root cause and corrective actions.Develop automation scripts for data analysis.Other ExpectationsAttention to detail and well organized.Ability to follow given instructions clearly.Able to lift 35 Lbs job may require shifting computers from one rack to another etc.Candidate should have reliable transportation and are OK with daily commute as it is 100 onsite work.Candidate must have good attitude communication skills.
