Job Title: Material Handler & Dock Runner
Location: Albany, NY
Training will take place at the Malta, NY site. Candidates must be able to complete training in Malta, NY.
Pay Rate:
Day Shift: $24.75/hour
Night Shift: $26.75/hour
Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shifts
Assignment Duration: Long-term temporary assignment through at least October 2026, with potential for extension.
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Material Handlers & Dock Runners to support dock and cleanroom operations at a leading high-tech manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, transporting, and tracking materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety and contamination control standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience who are looking for a stable, long-term assignment with multiple shift options available.
Key Responsibilities
Safely load and unload materials at the dock
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
Transport materials between dock, storage, and cleanroom areas
Maintain accurate material traceability using approved tracking methods and serial documentation
Record inventory movements and update tracking systems within required timelines
Organize storage and staging areas for efficient material access
Verify returned tools, kits, and components for completeness and accuracy
Follow all site safety procedures, contamination control policies, and 5S workplace standards

Front Half Days
Sunday – Tuesday, alternating Wednesdays
6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
$24.75/hour
Front Half Nights
Sunday – Tuesday, alternating Wednesdays
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
$26.75/hour
Back Half Days
Thursday – Saturday, alternating Wednesdays
6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
$24.75/hour
Back Half Nights
Thursday – Saturday, alternating Wednesdays
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
$26.75/hour
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of warehouse, material handling, logistics, or organizational experience
Basic experience using inventory management systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or controlled environments
Familiarity with serial number tracking and contamination control processes
