Position SummaryPress Brake Operator is responsible for retrieving tooling, setting tooling, programming machine and running machine. The Press Brake operator will use blue print specifications to accurately make test part, inspect, make adjustments and Green tag part, and verify product quality by inspection and measuring equipment.Essential Job FunctionsFollow safety and environmental proceduresCome to work everyday, on time as scheduledProficient communication skillsAccurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Compare parts to blueprint to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product qualityUse computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP systemSetup, program and operate Press Brake equipmentPerform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep Press Brake running smoothly and reduce downtime.Examine parts during production process.Set up light barriers to ensure safetyExecute scheduling boardAbility to use motorized walking stackerQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to operator cranes, overhead hoistsAbility to use quality inspection equipmentProficient and basic math and computer skills
