Lead Sign Installer

Job Description DutiesWhile professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.-Responsible for leading the completion of daily or weekly sign installation assignments in a timely, efficient, effective and safe manner with customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal. This is a field-based roles requiring regular travel to customer installation sites- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide installation processes- Collaborate with other departments and contractors to coordinate installation activities- Install a wide variety of sign types including pylons, building signs, ADA signage and vinyl graphics.- Electrical repairs and service including LED retrofitsEducation, Experience, Knowledge & SkillsPrevious experience as a lead installer is REQUIREDStrong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installationAttention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipHigh School Diploma or GEDThree (3) years of minor electrical or service experience or combination of electrical and service experience.MUST MAINTAIN ACTIVE CDL B LICENSEMaintain active DOT Certification Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a helperBasic electrical knowledge especially in regards to lamps, ballasts, sockets and primary voltages.
