Operations Supervisor - Starting at $70k/annually DOE!This position is a direct hire opportunity!Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Operations Supervisor for our manufacturing client to start immediately starting at $70k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!Responsibilities:This role requires a strong background in warehouse operations, including hands-on experience with warehousing processes, blending, packaging, heating, and storage activities. The Operations Supervisor will also be involved in spill response, hazardous waste handling and shipment, warehouse sanitation, and other environmentally and safety-sensitive functions.Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookCommunicate operational updates and issues to warehouse leadershipCoordinate daily schedules for team members and selfMonitor environmental, health, and safety complianceWork toward achieving quality and food safety management objectivesParticipate as an internal auditor for quality and food safety systemsAssist in food safety initiatives and team participationDevelop and maintain standard operating proceduresTrain operational staff, including supervisors, loaders, blenders, and forklift operatorsSupport responses to customer concerns and complaintsPrepare corrective and preventive action documentationMaintain high standards of housekeeping and organizationEnsure routine inspection and testing of equipment such as forklifts, scales, pumps, and filtersEnforce adherence to safety and operational proceduresOversee heating/steaming processes within operationsCoordinate railcar movement and scheduling as neededMaintain cleanliness standards in controlled environments to meet regulatory requirementsSupervise contractors working within warehouse areasSupport maintenance and repair of warehouse infrastructureConduct routine inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment, and processing areas as requiredLocation: North Hammond, INSchedule/Shift Details: First ShiftOvertime as needed.Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1–2 years of related experience/training, or a comparable combination of education and experienceRequired Knowledge and TrainingHazard Communication (general awareness)Hazardous Materials (HazMat) trainingHAZWOPER (minimum 24-hour certification)Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) awarenessQuality and food safety standards, including applicable policies and proceduresForklift operation certificationConfined space entry awarenessHot work permitting awarenessLockout/Tagout awarenessEmergency evacuation proceduresQuality and food safety policy awarenessISO quality and food safety procedures awarenessISO 9001 and food safety system internal auditing awarenessFood safety team participation awarenessBenefits: MedicalDentalVisionPTO401kWhy choose Integrity Trade Services?At ITS, we offer our employees a competitive salary paid weekly and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Interested?
