Salary up to $115,000 depending upon experience
Responsibilities:
Provide daily operational support for the department
Supervisor and track the department’s daily activities, including managing time & attendance and coordinating staffing to cover assignments as needed.
Provide project management support by overseeing project schedules, supplies, and contractors
Provide customer support, and ensure customer expectations are met
Review all completed technician paperwork for accuracy and process following workflow guidelines
Ensure all staff are up-to-date on safety, vendor, and required training and licensing
Develop your team and serve as a motivator and coach for each member
Provide performance feedback timely using the company-approved platform
Assist leadership with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new department staff
Open willingness to continual learning
Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner
Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values
Any other duties deemed appropriate by management
Required:
Previous technician or operations experience in Fire Life Safety preferred
Relevant low-voltage electrical and mechanical experience
Leadership skills; management experience preferred
Must be organized and able to exercise effective time management skills to prioritize workload
Must be able to source, understand and interpret industry codes and standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel
Must be able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications
Pass drug and background screenings
Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Must be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Hiring Process (in addition to an interview):
