RN Director – Med Surg Telemetry
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain an active and current Registered Nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Oversee and guide hospital operations within the Med Surg Telemetry unit.
Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Ensure high-quality patient care, staff engagement, and compliance with clinical standards.
Education Requirements:
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or BSN.
Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a master’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
Professional Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience Requirements:
Active RN license.
Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment (Manager or Director level).
Proven track record in staff leadership, operational management, and clinical oversight.
Certifications (American Heart Association):
BLS – Required upon hire.
ACLS – Required within 3 months of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
