Prepare and conceptualize sketches, layouts, and schematics on a job to job basis.Responsibilities:Analyze requirements from customers and develop design solutionsPrepare bills of materialsDesign and develop cost analysis, test, handle implementation, analysis of products, systems, and new technologyProduce approval drawings and manufacturing drawingsDesign software test for special applicationsProcess feedback from manufacturingAssist marketing, manufacturing, and field service with engineering-related issuesOrganize instruction manualResearch STD data baseManage projects and design review systemImprove computers and design softwareDevelop and maintain engineering standards/processesSkills and Experience:4-10 years of relevant work experienceSpec interpretation, logic diagrams, electrical theory, understanding of a PC design workstationElectrical Theory, Pro-E, AutoCad, Thermal Analysis, PC, analysisTools/Equipment:Corporate network and other engineering software.
