Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Traveling Safety Manager to support high-value Heavy Industrial construction projects, including manufacturing facilities, food & beverage plants, processing facilities, and data centers. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a top-ranked ENR (Engineering News-Record) company delivering complex, technically demanding industrial builds across the country.The RoleAs Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading all site safety initiatives and ensuring projects are executed in full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field leadership to promote a proactive safety culture across all phases of construction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and enforce site-specific safety programs across large-scale Heavy Industrial projectsConduct daily safety audits, jobsite inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetingsEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client safety standardsPartner with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risksInvestigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective and preventive actionsReview and monitor JHAs, permits, lift plans, lockout/tagout procedures, and high-risk activitiesMaintain accurate safety documentation, reporting, training records, and compliance logsSupport onboarding and safety orientation for all site personnel and subcontractorsPromote a strong safety-first culture while ensuring projects remain productive and operationally efficientParticipate in project planning meetings, site walks, and coordination efforts throughout the project lifecycleRequirementsProven experience as a Safety Manager within Heavy Industrial construction environmentsExperience supporting manufacturing, food & beverage, processing, mission-critical, or data center projects preferredStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial construction safety standards, and high-risk construction activitiesExperience managing safety programs on large-scale construction projects with multiple subcontractorsExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-demand construction environments while maintaining strict safety standardsOSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, ASP, or other safety certifications preferredStrong understanding of fall protection, confined space, crane operations, energized work, and other critical safety proceduresRelevant safety, construction, or industrial background preferredMust be open to nationwide travel and extended project assignmentsWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary, dependent on experienceEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – share in the company’s long-term successOpportunity to support high-profile, technically challenging industrial projectsCareer advancement within a growing and dynamic organizationSupportive and collaborative project teamsTravel opportunities with exposure to major industrial and mission-critical developmentsIf you are a construction Safety Manager with Heavy Industrial experience and a passion for driving world-class safety performance, apply now to be part of impactful, large-scale projects across the country.
