Metal Department KitterThe Kitter is responsible for working with areas within the metal plant and other departments to ensure product and inventory is dispersed and allocated appropriately.Essential Job Functions: Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory Identify and report damaged product found while performing counts Research inventory discrepancies Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them) Solve complex problems and deal with a variety of inventory control situations. Perform assigned job duties under constant time pressures. Capability of and willingness to use warehouse machinery (scissor lift, forklifts etc.) Develop and maintain working relationships with Supervisors, Managers, and fellow associates within the facility.Job Qualifications: High School Diploma/GEDCompetencies: Fluent in MS Office and Excel Demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills Strong organization and problem-solving skills; a strong team player Knowledge of manufacturing principles and operations
