Encore Program Instructor

To support lifelong learning for older adults, the part-time Encore Program Instructor will develop and teach specialized academic courses focused on personal enrichment, with flexible scheduling options available for both in-person and remote instruction within certain states. Key responsibilities Develop course content and create syllabi for specialized academic classes Manage classroom dynamics and provide high-quality instruction to students aged 50 and older Assist with marketing efforts for the classes, with necessary approvals from the Community Learning Center Director Required qualifications College degree or specialized certification relevant to the subject area Previous teaching experience is desired Ability to submit specific class proposals for each session Willingness to attend an orientation session prior to teaching Approval required for remote work within designated states
