In this key position, the professional will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and preparation, accurately preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations. Responsibilities also include analyzing and preparing financial statements, assisting with accounting-related processes, training staff, and providing expertise on complex tax matters. The Senior Tax Accountant will serve as a subject matter expert to support clients and team members.Qualifications5+ Years experience in public accountingUltra Tax software experience preferredExpertise in Tax Compliance and Tax PreparationStrong understanding of Tax regulations and processesProven experience in preparing and reviewing Financial StatementsProficiency in Accounting practices and principlesBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, CPA certification preferredExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in an on-site, team-oriented environmentFamiliarity with accounting software and tools; advanced Excel skills
