Advanced Massage Therapist, LMTWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Massage Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region. This role focuses on enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and recovery.Key Responsibilities:Deliver personalized therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual care plans.Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional health to determine optimal therapy methods.Develop and implement customized massage therapy plans addressing specific patient needs and conditions.Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity of care.Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and complementary wellness practices.Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any contraindications.Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by following all health and sterilization protocols.Manage time effectively, responding promptly to communications and multitasking in a dynamic setting.Education and Certification:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Valid and current massage therapy license or certification as per state regulations.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.Experience and Skills:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a massage therapy setting, preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Commitment to patient-centered care and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.Additional Requirements:Completion of Mandatory Reporter course within six months of hire.Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.Adherence to organizational compliance programs and policies.This part-time position offers varied days and evenings, averaging 18 hours per week, ideal for professionals seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on patient health and wellness.
