Software EngineerAurora, CO, Fairfax, VA, Sarasota, FLWe are seeking an experienced Linux Software Engineer to support multi-location project initiatives focused on modernizing software infrastructure. This role emphasizes migrating existing applications and developing new projects within containerized environments and cloud platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain software applications using modern development practices and frameworksCreate and manage containerization workflows implementing DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelinesPlan and execute deployments to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring system stability, scalability, and reliabilityFacilitate the transition of legacy applications into modern container-based architecturesRequired QualificationsProgramming: Strong proficiency in Python for application development and automation scriptingContainerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes orchestrationDevOps Tools: Practical knowledge of Git version control, CI/CD pipeline development, and DevSecOps methodologiesPreferred QualificationsCloud Platforms: Demonstrated experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipeline configurationProven ability to leverage Al-assisted development tools for code generation and optimizationStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent technical writing skills for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentationFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and project management practices
