We are general change of management focused. The team gets engaged on what we refer to as tier one projects. Any time a line of business including technology is making a change to processes, critical processes, critical technology systems we get triggered as an engaged partner and it is our responsibility to help coordinate second line engagement with the business that is leading the change. We participate with the line of business and project status, update meetings, governance meetings with who has oversight for the work thats being done and then we actually coordinate with our second line partners as well. We bring those partners together on a regular basis to give them updates on whats happening with the project risks or issues, blockers concerns that they may have from a domain specific risk perspective. We also make sure that the business is following our change methodology as they move through the project life cycle.Industry background: Risk or change management background a plusTeam Dynamic: Manager & 4 risk officesRoles/Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing Independent Risk Management (IRM) challenge activities for the majority of Change@ Tier 1 Delivery Projects. This oversight allows for one Voice of Risk on s significant projects.Gain an understanding of Change@ processes and Independent Project Risk Oversight (iPRO) role in the processes.Build relationships with Business Owner/Sponsor, Project Manager, 1LOD Risk, Project Quality Assurance (PQA) Analyst, and IRM Partners assigned to the Delivery Project to help ensure that all parties are aligned on roles and responsibilities and work together during the project lifecycle.Lead periodic IRM Partner meetings and provide updates on project status and any risk concerns based on the governance activities to the IRM Partners assigned to the Delivery Project and also provide updates to 1LOD with any risk concerns being escalated by the IRM Partners Coordinate with Line of Business to ensure that IRM Partners are participating and challenging the Process, Risk, and Control (PRC) analysis for assigned Delivery Projects.Coordinate reviews of defects, incidents, and issues with Line of Business and IRM Partners, including challenging manual work arounds.Responsibilities: Job Description:Oversees and/or designs the risk management program and corresponding communication strategies. Engages the lines of business to review and challenge compliance with programs.Ensures the risk management program is maintained and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their risks while meeting regulatory expectations.Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components. Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology Risk, etc.) to proactively identify risk exposures across .Reviews, challenges, and reports the business self assessment results (including new initiatives, business as usual activities, and risk management program) to higher level management. Preferred Skills Compliance Reporting, Customer Risk, Decision Making, Regulatory Requirements, Risk Assessments, Risk Control, Strategic Objectives Competencies Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Fraud Management, Internal Controls, Operational Risk, Organizational Savvy and Politics, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving, Process Management Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required.
