Job TypePart-timeDescriptionWhat You'll DoLoan Processing DutiesManage a small pipeline of up to 5 loans per monthReview new loan files prior to initial disclosures to ensure completeness and accuracyAssist with file setup to prevent conditions (“cures”) and improve submission qualitySupport overall file quality and readiness for processing and underwritingAdministrative & Operational SupportMonitor and respond to team inbox inquiries and help requests in a timely mannerAnswer basic operational and loan-related questions from team membersAssist with loan locking and DPA (Down Payment Assistance) loan processing as neededPull and distribute scheduled reports, including:Broker reports (month-end)Branch projection reports (first and mid-month)DPA reports (first and mid-month)Processor projection reportsProvide support for daily operational questions, including:Running DU (Desktop Underwriter)Troubleshooting file or system issuesGeneral workflow guidanceRequirementsWhat We'll Love About YouExcellent customer serviceEffective communication skills including written and verbalBasic knowledge of lender’s and investor’s underwriting and program guidelinesAbility to prepare state and federally required disclosuresAbility to manage processing pipelineKnowledge of basic underwriting guidelines to calculate income, assess adequate asset availability, review appraisal report, read title commitment/preliminary title reportsDepending on the opening, may train or may need someone with 1-2 years experiencePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing and data entryAbility to view and analyze information on a computer screen for extended periodsOccasional standing, walking, and reachingAbility to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (files, documents, office materials)Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWhat You'll Love About UsGreat Company CultureTop Workplaces 6 years in a row (2016,'17,'18,'19,'20 & '21) Going Places.
