This is a pivotal moment for the organization, and the successful candidates will play a key role in stewarding the next chapter through strategic planning, fundraising, and mission-driven leadership. The Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing the school's mission, vision, and strategic direction, ensuring its financial health, and supporting the Head of School. The ideal Trustees will be experienced nonprofit leaders or successful entrepreneurs with a strong background in either fundraising or marketing communications, and a deep understanding of or connection to gifted education. They should be prepared to commit 20-30 hours quarterly, including attending board meetings, participating in strategic initiatives, and engaging with the school community. Candidates for the Board of Trustees at the company should be prepared to uphold and advance the organization's mission, serve as philanthropic leaders, and engage meaningfully with families, donors, and external stakeholders. Essential qualifications include a minimum of 10 years' of nonprofit leadership or board experience, a personal capacity for a significant annual financial commitment, and a strategic, hands-on approach to execution. The company values Trustees who are bold, intellectually engaged, and who can challenge assumptions with respect and insight. The role is not for those who seek the status quo; it is for individuals who are willing to break the mold and are dedicated to ensuring that the life-changing environment of the organization reaches more students in need of its unique and essential educational approach.Travel PercentLess than 10%FunctionsBoard of Directors (non-operating)Strategy
