Cashier

Under the supervision of the Collections Supervisor, the Cashier receives direct payments from consumers, verifies amounts, issues receipt, and responds to inquiries and comments. What you’ll do: Greets consumers politely Receives payments in the form of cash, check, card via computer system and portal swiping system. Verifies amount received against current record of amount due and owing Completes and issues receipt in amount received Count and balance cash drawer at the end of the day Responds to consumer questions or comments All other duties as needed. What you bring: High School Diploma or equivalent Cashiering experience preferred Prior cash handling experience and the ability to keep accurate transactional data and records Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.
