Power BI Analyst II
OverviewCryogenic Pumps & Expanders is seeking a Power BI Developer and analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our global operations. This role will focus on delivering advanced analytics, business intelligence solutions, and operational insights that improve performance in manufacturing, service, and project execution. This is an onsite position.The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen to transform complex data into actionable insights that support efficiency, cost optimization, and strategic growth. He/she must have the ability to connect data insights to operational and financial impact and be detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and qualityResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Operational InsightsAnalyze data from sales, manufacturing, engineering, financials, and supply chain systems to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesPerform root cause analysis on operational issues (e.g., delivery delays, cost overruns, profitability losses, etc.)Support global entities in the development of local KPIs that will allow them to forecast, plan to meet existing backlog, and support the development of project dashboardsDeliver actionable recommendations to improve KPIs such as throughput, margins, utilization, and on-time deliveryBusiness Intelligence & StrategyDevelop and maintain standardized KPI dashboards aligned with Cryogenic Pumps and Expanders operational and business objectivesPartner with stakeholders across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership to define reporting and analytics needsEnable self-service BI by creating intuitive, scalable datasets and reportsEnsure consistency of metrics across all global locations (e.g., revenue, backlog, delivery, quality, etc.)Translate complex data into clear business narratives and executive-level insightsSupport strategic initiatives in the cryogenic pumps and expanders through data analysisPower BI DevelopmentDesign and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for:Manufacturing performanceProject tracking & analyticsFinancial reportingSales and backlogBuild and maintain robust data models and semantic layersDevelop advanced DAX calculations and functional unit KPIsUse Power Query (M) to transform and prepare dataOptimize performance for large datasets and enterprise reportingData Integration & ManagementExtract and integrate data from systems such as:ERP systems (e.g., Encompix, MAAS500, Manfact or similar)Manufacturing systems (MES)Service and field data systemsSQL databases and cloud platformsSharePoint, excel files, etc.Collaborate with IT and local entities to collect data from multiple teams to improve data pipelines and data qualityEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reportsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentGovernance & QualityImplement data governance standards and security controls (e.g., row-level security)Maintain documentation for data models, KPIs, and reporting logicEnsure compliance with internal data standards and audit requirementsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with ACD safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000Salary RangeUSD $54,918.00 - USD $92,499.00 /Yr.
