Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in CT Surgery near DUNKIRK, INWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our esteemed CT Surgery program. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will serve as a nocturnist, working closely with our renowned team of cardiac surgeons to manage the full continuum of cardiac care. Strong cardiovascular experience is a requirement for this dynamic role.Our facility, a 396-bed tertiary care center, boasts an advanced cardiac care program that covers a wide range of specialties, including advanced heart failure, cardiac transplants and ventricular assist devices (VADs), complex arrhythmias and devices, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, and more.Details of the Position:Nocturnist role with 12-hour shifts; 14 shifts per month with zero call responsibilities.Involvement in complex cardiac procedures, including heart transplants and minimally invasive surgery.Full spectrum of cardiac surgery care, encompassing pre-operative and post-operative care.Management of post-operative patients, addressing conditions such as arrhythmias and fluid balance, and treating as appropriate in collaboration with the surgeon.Monitoring, consulting, and acting as a liaison between the surgeon, patient, family, and staff.Collaboration within a cohesive team of cardiac surgeons and advanced practice providers.In addition to a challenging and rewarding role, we offer a comprehensive compensation package to recognize the value you bring to our team.
