Automation Technician
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems and equipment
- Program and configure distributed control systems (DCS)
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and fabricate automation components
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and repair automation issues
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on automation systems
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues
- Document all activities, including repairs, maintenance, and system modifications
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing automation components
- Experience in field service or similar role, preferably in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve automation issues
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
