Robotic / Vision System Integration Engineer - ProgrammerUltra Tech Machinery is a well-established manufacturing process solution provider that is a part of the HEH group of companies (theHEHGroup.com). Core business divisions include custom machines, equipment re-manufacturing, and total process solutions (including robotic and dedicated automated solutions).Currently we are seeking to expand our staff and are seeking an experienced Robotic / Vision System Integration Engineer - Programmer.Job Requirements Include:Evaluate customer supplied parts for the feasibility to automate.Evaluate customer supplied parts for vision system integration feasibility.Select appropriate vision system hardware / software to meet the requirements of the project. The vision system can be used for locating the parts, dimensionally checking the parts, and defect detection.Program multi-axis robots and vision systems to meet the overall system requirements.In-depth knowledge of Fanuc (or similar) robotics is required.In-depth and hands-on integration knowledge with Keyence (or similar) and hardware is required.Build mechanical assemblies that include fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings provided by engineeringCommunicate with customers and internal team members to ensure all functional requirements are met.Work alone or in a group setting to develop equipment designs that exceed customer expectations.Must be willing to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines.Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites.
