Job detailsJob Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician IILocation: Cincinnati, OHPay Rate: $30.00/hourShift: EOWN - Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AMTraining Shift: FOWN - Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AMEmployment Type: Full-time, Contingent/TemporaryPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II (Journeyman level) to provide a range of electrical, controls, and mechanical services in support of our automated production equipment. This role is essential for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving equipment reliability and efficiency within our manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafetyMaintain a safe work environment in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standardsIdentify and correct unsafe conditions involving electrical safety, shielding/guarding, safety interlocks, and emergency stopsComplete safety review checklists for new equipment and process changesConsistently follow site safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, hot work, confined spaces, and othersOperations SupportPromptly and thoroughly troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtimeEnsure spare parts are identified and available for all production machineryPerform scheduled preventive maintenance and adjust requirements as necessaryProvide ongoing training and mentorship to production associates for equipment operation and maintenanceAssist with updates to equipment-related SOPs to ensure accurate proceduresContinuous ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, enhance quality, and boost customer satisfactionParticipate in site-wide continuous improvement initiatives, including PPI and Lean activitiesQualificationsHigh school diploma required; advanced education in a scientific/technical field preferredTechnical certification is a plus3-5 years of technical mechanical and/or electrical experience, or a combination of education and work experienceProficient at troubleshooting automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical skills for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of complex equipmentDemonstrated knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, and industrial automationFamiliarity with construction, maintenance, and repairs in a commercial environmentProficient in the use of all hand and power toolsAdditional RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and factory software (CMMS, inventory management)Ability to work in various environments, including office, laboratory, chemical production, cleanroom, warehouse, rooftops, mechanical and interstitial spaces, and outdoors as neededMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyHow to ApplyIf you are an experienced maintenance technician looking to leverage your skills in a collaborative and safety-focused environment, please submit your resume for immediate consideration.
