Business Development Director (Stone Mountain)
Carolina PRG has partnered a rapidly growing infrastructure services organization seeking a Business Development Manager/Director to support continued expansion throughout the greater Atlanta market and region. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic client relationships, and identifying new project opportunities across utility, infrastructure, and underground services markets.The ideal candidate will have experience selling into municipal, government, or related industrial sectors and understand the relationship-driven nature of the industry. This role requires a strong combination of business development expertise, operational awareness, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with contractors, municipalities, developers, engineering firms, and utility providers.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a growth-oriented environment and wants to make a meaningful impact within a highly active and essential industry sector.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic business development initiatives to drive growth across the Atlanta market and surrounding Southeast regionIdentify and pursue new opportunities within utility, underground infrastructure, site development, telecommunications, civil construction, and related marketsBuild relationships with general contractors, municipalities, utility providers, engineering firms, developers, and other industry stakeholdersGenerate new business through networking, industry associations, referrals, project tracking, and strategic outreachMaintain strong knowledge of regional infrastructure projects, market activity, and competitive landscapeCollaborate with operations and leadership teams to align business development efforts with project execution capabilitiesLead client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussionsSupport contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term partnership developmentTrack pipeline activity, project opportunities, and revenue forecasting within CRM systemsRepresent the company professionally at industry events, trade associations, and networking functionsQualifications3–10+ years of business development or industry leadership experience within infrastructure, underground utilities, civil construction, or related sectorsProven ability to generate new business and develop client relationshipsAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with project-based sales cycles and operational coordinationDemonstrated success developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growthExisting network within the Atlanta and Southeast infrastructure/construction market strongly preferredStrong commercial acumen with consultative business development approach
