Software Tester
Key ResponsibilitiesUser Acceptance Testing & Quality AssuranceLead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) events to validate business requirements prior to project go-live.Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.Perform positive and negative testing to identify defects and validate corrective actions before implementation.Ensure adherence to standard UAT quality assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices.Conduct test execution, defect tracking, issue resolution follow-up, and status reporting activities.Collaboration & Project SupportWork closely with IT, CORE, Claims teams, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and solution designs.Participate in data mining sessions and review forums to analyze business processes and project objectives.Identify and manage risks, issues, mitigation plans, and action items related to UAT activities.Subject Matter ExpertiseServe as a Claims Operations systems subject matter expert (SME).Ensure consistency and accuracy of system functionality and operational processes across the department.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing standards and operational efficiency.Additional DutiesPerform other responsibilities as assigned by the Claims Quality Manager or Claims Quality Director.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree OR 8+ years of related work experience post-high school.Minimum 5 years of experience in:Information technology quality assuranceSystems/application testingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Technical & Functional SkillsTest plansTest casesTest proceduresTest scriptsUnit testingIntegration testingSystem testingIndustry KnowledgeKnowledge of:Medical care systemsGovernment healthcare programsCommercial lines of businessClaims operations workflowsBenefits:Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment Opportunity[Pride Health] is an equal opportunity employer.
