Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionTMRW Sports is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Social Media – Golf to lead the vision, voice, and execution of social media across its TGL and WTGL golf properties. This role is central to shaping a culturally relevant, fan-first brand presence that deepens engagement, accelerates audience growth, and elevates how the leagues show up across priority social platforms.Serving as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator, this person will own the development of innovative social content ecosystems while ensuring social media is a key driver of brand relevance, fandom, and business impact. This role will forge strong partnerships across players, teams, sponsors, broadcast, and media partners to deliver compelling, platform-native content that extends well beyond live competition.Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing – Golf, the Director, Social Media - Golf will lead and develop a high-performing social team, establish best-in-class workflows and governance, and ensure TMRW Sports remains at the forefront of social, cultural, and content innovation within sports and entertainment.ResponsibilitiesLead the overarching social media strategy for the TMRW Sports Golf business, aligning social priorities with broader marketing, content, partnership and business objectivesBuild and cultivate an engaged fan community that strengthens connection to leagues, teams, players, and broader cultural conversationDrive audience growth and brand awareness across priority platforms through innovative, platform-native storytelling and shareable shortform contentDeliver continuous and tentpole content strategies that drive relevance, reach, engagement impressions, shares and conversionsDefine and evolve the voice, tone, and storytelling approach for TGL and WTGL across priority owned social channelsCollaborate with branded content and partnerships team to ensure sponsor integrations align with league creative and brand standards while maintaining a fan-first approachPartner with team, player, broadcast, and internal content stakeholders to create compelling, differentiated storytelling that extends beyond live competitionOversee content ideation, production, publishing, distribution, and optimization across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging channels.Identify opportunities for real-time, culturally relevant content that expand audience reach and drives conversationDevelop strategies that convert social engagement into measurable business outcomes including tune in, app downloads, ticket sales, and website trafficDefine and track KPIs aligned with company priorities, including follower growth, engagements, impressions, shares, video views, conversions and sponsorship valueLead reporting, insights, social listening, and optimization efforts, translating performance data into actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teamsIdentify, implement, and manage best-in-class tools and platforms for workflow management, content operations, analytics, listening, and publishingEstablish workflows, editorial calendars, and governance to ensure consistency and quality across all channelsLead and develop a high-performing social media team responsible for content creation, publishing, community management, audience engagement, and social listeningManage external agencies, production partners, and platform relationshipsEnsure the organization is leveraging social media infrastructure to its fullest potentialRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar area of study, or equivalent working experience10+years of social media, digital content or media experienceProven experience in social content from strategy through execution and analysisExperience in building and scaling high-impact social media strategies and teamsDeep understanding of major and emerging platforms, content formats, and fan engagement behaviorsExperience working with talent, athletes, creators, and partnersPreferredExperience leading social media strategy at scale for a major consumer brand, league, team, media company, or high-growth sports/entertainment propertyExperience leading or closely partnering on paid social strategy, including audience development, campaign optimization, and performance-driven content distributionDemonstrated success building culturally relevant, fan-first social brands that drive engagement across multiple platformsExperience working with athletes, talent, creators, and teams to produce compelling contentStrong track record using data, analytics, and social listening to inform strategy, optimize performance, and connect engagement to business outcomesExpert level knowledge
