A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - ER\n\nJob Details:\n• Work every 3rd weekend including holidays when scheduled\n• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed\n• 16-hour shifts with guaranteed hours\n• Work in 16-bed emergency department with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio\n• Administer critical drips as needed\n• Use EPIC EMR system for patient documentation\n• Dress code requires navy, black, or gray solid scrubs (tops and bottoms)\n• 24 months of current/recent ER experience required\n• Recent travel experience required\n• EPIC EMR experience required\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC\n• Preferred certifications: De-escalation certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI), NIH Stroke Scale certificate\n• Iowa nursing license or compact/multi-state license required\n• Must maintain minimum 50-mile radius from facility (no locals)\n• Skills checklist specific to emergency department required\n• Professional reference from supervisor within 24 months preferred\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing emergency services to the community.
