In this role you embed with enterprise customers to design, build, and run AI-powered production systems that scale. You own technical delivery end-to-end, from prototype to enterprise deployment, aligning architecture with the customer’s strategy. You drive multi-stream AI programs, establish production readiness, and create reusable patterns that uplift the entire FDE practice. You work closely with customer teams to deliver measurable business outcomes while advancing AWS services and tooling. This role combines hands-on software engineering with strategic influence in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery across customer engagements
- Own the technical strategy and execution for complex AI programs
- Make architecture decisions spanning services and boundaries
- Align technical approach with customer technology strategy
- Architect and build production AI systems at scale
- Define operational standards and production readiness criteria
- Establish testing, observability, and incident response processes
- Drive engineering excellence and coach junior FDEsIdentify opportunities to expand AI adoption and create accelerators
Key requirements:
- 5+ years of non-internship software development experience 5+ years programming in at least one language 5+ years leading design/architecture of systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading engineering xhqgsiq teams
- Experience communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading production-scale AI development (AI agents a plus)
