As the Director of IT, you will oversee and direct all aspects of the Information Technology (IT) department.Primary Responsibilities include:Strategic planning and implementation of new technologies. Crafts strategic plan in concert with the leadership team. Sets goals and provides input for long-term planning.Internal IT Business Systems and applications maintenance and support.Responsible for budgeting, planning, implementation, and management of multiple data centers and remote branch offices.Maintenance and operational stability for the organization’s online Product Portfolio, strategic planning and implementation of new technologies, and quality assurance for all aspects of these systems.Staff, contractor, and consultants hiring, development, and trainingPrepares annual budget, sets policy, and reviews performance for all department staff.Embrace ITIL, and ITSM frameworks to provide measurement along with reporting of availability to achieve 99.9% uptime for data center resources.Achieve and maintain ISO 2700x certification for data center and business operations.Education:Masters Degree in Computer Science and/or Business Management with an emphasis on Computer Sciences. (Managerial/professional work experience may be substituted for an advanced degree.)Formal education, certificate programs encompassing Managerial Practices, Personnel Management, IT Project Planning, and Quality Assurance Practices.Experience:Minimum of 10 years of information technology and/or software engineering experience. Fifteen or more are preferred. 7 years of management experience.Special Skills:Focus on Customer/Client Satisfaction.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Excellent written and oral presentation skills.Professional in demeanor.Ability to handle multiple tasks; self-initiative.Considerable creative, independent, and original thinking is required.Must be capable of managing multiple complex projects and assignments concurrently.A high degree of analytical skill is needed for all of the primary responsibilities.Must be results-oriented.Rapid Continuous Improvement.Supervises and Directs:Data Center InfrastructureIT Operations managerData Base ManagerCyber Security / Governance Risk ComplianceISO 2700x, ITIL, ITSM, CMDB, TicketingRemote Branch Office IT resourcesExternal contractors and other outside resourcesThe total staff and contractors will average 25 to 30 individuals.
