Trueline’s client, a rapidly growing industrial fabrication and engineering company in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, is seeking a Senior Structural/Industrial Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the design and detailing of industrial structural systems, including platforms, walkways, supports, and access systems within plant environments.This is a high-impact position offering the opportunity to lead complex structural projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in shaping large-scale industrial initiatives.What You'll Do as the Senior Structural Engineer:Design and detail large-scale structural platforms and systems used in industrial plant environmentsCreate and review drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, and related toolsCollaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and buildableLead technical decision-making on projects ranging from 15M to 20M in scopeMentor and guide junior engineers, helping elevate team capability and directionReview and extract key components from complex drawings and plansSupport continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflowsParticipate in onsite walkthroughs and design reviews as neededMust-Haves as the Senior Structural Engineer:10+ years of experience in structural or industrial engineeringStrong background designing structures for heavy industrial environments such as cement, manufacturing, or processing plantsProficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and InventorExperience with structural detailing and fabrication-ready designAbility to lead projects and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineersExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teamsHands-on, practical mindset with the ability to translate design into real-world productionNice-to-Haves as the Senior Structural Engineer:Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience working with large-scale industrial clients or in fabrication environmentsFamiliarity with process plants such as cement or aggregate facilitiesExperience improving engineering workflows or implementing new toolsOur Client Offers:Competitive base salary with flexibility for highly experienced candidatesUnique, high-upside performance-based bonus structure tied to company growthHealth benefits and 401k programFlexible work setup with hybrid options available (Dallas-Fort Worth area preferred, with periodic onsite collaboration)Opportunity to join a company experiencing rapid growth following a major merger and expansionExposure to large, complex industrial projects and high-profile clientsLeadership opportunity to shape engineering standards and mentor a growing teamTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
