Assistant Teacher
McGlannan School is hiring Assistant Teachers!
Description of Position:
Assisting with general classroom supervision and management of students. The applicant must be willing to fulfill responsibilities according to the school's educational philosophy and mission.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Assist teachers with daily lessons and management of students
Supervise outside activities and field trips as applicable
Perform clerical tasks as requested for teachers and front office
Attend staff meetings and training programs
Set up and clean up instructional equipment used in the classroom as per teacher's instructions
Follow directions given by lead teacher and immediate supervisor
Monitor lunches
Assist with morning arrivals and afternoon dismissal
Must be flexible with scheduling
Instruction in arts and crafts for after-school enrichment classes
Job Requirement:
Must have excellent command of the English language, written, and spoken
Minimum of an AA degree from a U.S. accredited college or university
CPR and First Aid Certified
Experience working with children especially children with learning challenges
Qualified to work within the United States
Employment and criminal background checks prior to hire
Must be kind, compassionate and patient
