This position is responsible for a variety of HR tasks, including administrative support for Talent Acquisition, HR team, and employees through HR documentation, filing, process, reporting, event planning, and participating in HR projects as needed.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Provides general support including the preparation of employment application and new hire materials, interview and job folders, various forms and reports, and presentationsSubmits candidates to pre-employment testing, background screening, references, and drug testingRecruits, screens, participates in interviewing, and on-boards new employeesResponsible for scheduling phone, virtual, and in person interviews, and booking travel arrangements for candidatesParticipates in recruiting job fairs eventsManages the employee referral process, tracks all referrals, and submits qualified referrals to the Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Prepares and enters personnel and payroll changes into the Workday system; audits and reviews the changes to ensure accuracyCompletes annual Affirmative Action Reports (AAP) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reports; ensures reports are filed correctlyCompletes and submits the monthly temporary report and audits hours/days to ensure compliance with the collective bargaining unit agreementResponds to general inquiries regarding the recruitment and selection processComplies with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations as requiredMaintains employee personnel files and related documentationAssists with employee event planning, set up, and supportPerforms work on-site in the assigned office locationPerforms other similar duties as assignedAttends meetings and training as directed by California Water ServiceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED; HR certification or equivalent preferredTwo year of experience working in a Human Resources or office environmentMust be professional, discrete, and able to handle multiple prioritiesProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsValid California Driver licenseSalary Range: $29.95 - $55.66Deadline to submit resume is Monday, April 13, 2026.The Equal Opportunity Policy of the Company is based upon the philosophy that all people should be treated fairly and with dignity.
