The Assembly Technician will continue to develop technical skills in their assigned areas, further their growth as team contributors, and begin using their experience and technical abilities to demonstrate leadership characteristics. The position requires hands-on experience and growing proficiency of EXALTA's most complicated processes. This position is critical in helping Resolve Surgical Technologies maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assembly Technician - All Levels:Follow blueprints and work instructions for implant and instrument assemblyAccurate documentation of inventory use and packaging related functionsIVS: Assembly of instruments with 1-3 lower-level parts (entry to advanced)Zimmer: Cable welding of different material types/controller settings (entry to advanced)DPS: Cable cutting, orbit forming, and laser etch (entry to advanced)CEA: labeling, documentation, packaging, working in a controlled environment area (entry to advanced)Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure specifications using precision instrumentsMaintain hand and machine tools in proper operation conditionMay be responsible for some of all Material Handler activities (entry to advanced)Supports cycle countsMaintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with Resolve's safety protocols and OSHA requirements.Assembly Technician 1:Entry-level positionAssembles a limited number of implants and instrumentsAssembly Technician 2: Inclusive of level 1 responsibilitiesIntermediate-level positionAssembles a limited number of implants and instrumentsMay be responsible for laser etch/weld processes, including set-up and fixture machinesAssist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and neededAssembly Technician 3: Inclusive of level 1 & 2 responsibilitiesAdvanced-level positionProficient in the assembly of a number of implants and instrumentsCross-trained in multiple areasAssist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and needed*This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions. *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:Assembly Technician 1:High School diploma or equivalent required1 year of equivalent work experience preferredAssembly Technician 2:High School diploma or equivalent required2+ years of equivalent work experience preferredAssembly Technician 3:High School diploma or equivalent requiredRecommended 5+ years of experience of equivalent work experience preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Technical CompetenciesOperation monitoring to ensure a machine is working properlyEquipment selectionBasic to advanced department-specific hand and machine tool knowledgeComputer skills (following SOP's, navigating One Drive/SharePoint, Propel)Basic to Advanced inspection techniquesBasic to Advanced SAP knowledge/fundamentalsEquipment selection and maintenance knowledgeBehavioral & Basic Skill CompetenciesGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong active listening skillsAbility to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks for long periods of timeAbility to follow directions, learn, and adaptCritical thinking & problem solvingTeam player with ability to work cooperatively with othersPositive attitudeParticipation (willingness to learn and take on new challenges, grow with company, willingness to train)Mechanical aptitudeWork Ethic and Punctuality (follow work schedule, work full duration of shift, and work overtime as needed)Ability to multitask and attention to detailRole model for othersPeer to peer mentoringStrong demonstration of EXALTA's Values, Mission, and VisionSafety and Quality mindset
