You will design, implement, maintain, and secure network systems, ensuring reliable and protected communication across software engineering and operational environments. Your work will include implementing and maintaining security measures, analyzing network performance, troubleshooting issues, recommending improvements, and supporting both Linux and Windows systems to ensure secure and efficient network operations.You Will Excel If You Are:Experienced in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco routers, switches, and firewallsProficient with Linux and WindowsKnowledgeable in implementing and maintaining network security measuresComfortable performing physical network tasks, including climbing ladders to access equipmentSkilled in troubleshooting network performance and recommending upgrades or modificationsFamiliar with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resourcesExperienced with automation tools such as Ansible or SaltFamiliar with AWS and virtualized network environmentsA Day In The Life Of:Designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise network infrastructuresMonitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity or throughput issuesImplementing and maintaining network security controls and configurationsPerforming configuration changes, upgrades, and patches on routers, switches, firewalls, and serversSupporting Linux and Windows systems, including system administration tasks as requiredUsing automation tools such as Ansible or Salt to streamline network operationsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable network functionalityRecommending network upgrades or modifications based on performance and security analysisMust Have:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearanceMinimum of three (3) years as a Network Engineer within the last three (3) yearsExperience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewallsProficiency with Linux and WindowsCCNA or CCNP certificationSecurity+ certificationAbility to climb ladders and perform physical network installation and maintenance tasksTwelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, or four (4) additional years of network engineering experience in lieu of a degreeIAT Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-MNice To Have:Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resourcesExperience developing or using Ansible or Salt scriptsExperience with AWS and virtualized network environmentsWindows and Linux system administration experienceClearEdge is an established small business that values its employees and is committed to providing an environment where individuals can succeed and grow.
