Computer Numerical Control Programmer

This is a great opportunity for a dedicated, ambitious machinist to build a long-term career with a company that values skill and initiative.Role DescriptionThe CNC Programmer will read and interpret technical drawings, then set up and program CNC mills to machine parts to specification. Using CAD/CAM software, this person will model cutting paths and translate blueprints into working programs, selecting the right tooling for each material and adjusting cutting paths and settings to optimize production without sacrificing quality. The role also includes performing quality assurance checks to confirm finished parts meet design specifications, and troubleshooting mechanical or logistical issues as they come up on the shop floor.Qualifications5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining is requiredPrevious experience in a manufacturing settingExperience programming, setting up, and operating CNC millsSkilled at interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detailSkilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problemsComfortable working independently and closely following directionPositive, professional attitudeStrong understanding of materials handling, welding, and quality control processesAvailable to work weekends and overtime as neededAbility to lift up to 25 pounds for short periodsPay InformationCurrency: United States Dollar (USD) Pay Type: Annual Salary Range: $85,000 – $200,000
