SQL Database Administrator

Must Haves:5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA in complex environments.Strong understanding of database backup, restore, and archival (full, differential, transaction log backups, and long-term archival) practices.Proven experience supporting application deployments with a focus on database architecture.Solid knowledge of Pure Storage administration and snapshot lifecycle management and performance tuning, or any other snapshot and data deduplication software.Proficiency with T-SQL, performance monitoring tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, Extended Events), and automation scripts. Plusses but not required:Familiarity with PowerShell, CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and schema management tools (e.g., Redgate, Liquibase).Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or hybrid cloud solutions.Working knowledge of regulatory requirements around data retention, security, and audit readiness.Certifications:Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: SQL Server Database AdministratorPure Storage FlashArray or equivalent storage certification
