Building Maintenance Technician Location: Perrysburg, Ohio Pay: $18–$20 per hour Hours: Full-Time, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM (Overtime possible but not consistent) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance tasks for office buildings, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, telecommunication, or carpentry. While we value prior experience, we are willing to provide training in areas where additional expertise is needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, telecommunication setups, and carpentry as required. Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify and address any issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve problems efficiently. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations. Assist in setting up and maintaining office telecommunication systems and equipment. Provide support for any special projects or additional tasks as needed. Snow removal and de-icing . Qualifications: Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field preferred. Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following: plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, telecommunication setup, or carpentry. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies. Basic understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Education High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) to three (3) years experience with building maintenance Preferred Specialized training in building system - low pressure boiler operator experience Preferred DDC control systems experience Must have a valid drivers license Experience operating various types of equipment #contractstaffing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Work Location: In person
