Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionHandle matters across civil litigation, real estate, landlord/tenant, employment counseling, and related business mattersTake ownership of cases and client work from early stages through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and develop practical, business-oriented recommendationsParticipate in hearings, depositions, negotiations, mediations, and trial preparationCommunicate directly with clients and help guide strategy on active mattersCollaborate with firm leadership while working independently on day-to-day case responsibilitiesSupport a client-service model centered on responsiveness, judgment, and long-term partnershipQualificationsActive California Bar membership2+ years of attorney experience, ideally with civil litigation exposureStrong legal writing, research, and analytical skillsComfortable managing substantive work with appropriate supervisionExcellent communication and client-facing abilityExisting ties to Santa Barbara or the surrounding community strongly preferredReal estate, landlord/tenant, employment defense, or business counseling experience is a plusWhy You Will Love Working HereYou will join a firm where your work matters and your judgment is valued.
