The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.As a Manager, Last Mile Operations at RXO, you'll have the opportunity to connect with customers, assist in route planning and monitoring, and build a bright professional future.What your day-to-day will look like:Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers, including maintaining contractor schedules, monitoring routes, reports and fostering positive working relationships with contract carriers and helpersDevelop and mentor staff to reach goals; train staff on company policies and proceduresCarry out managerial responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issuesEnsure compliance with corporate warehouse policies, procedures, and programsSupervise employees in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints/resolving problemsUse route planning software to build efficient delivery routesManage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the dayIdentify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficienciesTrain and develop contract carriers, and dispatchers to meet and exceed customer expectationsEnsure that all work is completed accurately and within established time frameEnsure photos are taken for every jobAllocate and request additional resources as neededAt a minimum, you'll need:5 years of related logistics and supervisory experienceExperience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.It'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or similarAvailability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights, and weekends; travel between branches and regions occasionallyExperience mentoring, training, and guiding newer/less-experienced team membersBilingual English/Spanish (read, write, and speak both languages)Strong business acumen with the willingness to act in partnership with management teamsOur BenefitsCompetitive payPaid time off includes: up to 8 holidays, up to 2 floating Diversity Days, Hourly: Earn up to 13 days PTO/ Salary: Earn up to 15 days PTO, up to 40 hours bereavement leave, up to 16 hours volunteer time, jury duty, at least 2 weeks family bonding leave, up to 40 hours prenatal care leave401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company matchInsurance: health, prescription, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life, short and long-term disability, accidental death and personal loss, business travel, legal services, ID theft, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition reimbursement, adoption assistanceTax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account, Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Spending AccountHealth Reimbursement ArrangementOur CultureOur values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.We do great things when we are inclusive and work together.
