Strength & Conditioning Coach
Job DescriptionThe Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) is responsible for developing and implementing physical training programs designed to enhance athletic performance and physical fitness, with an emphasis on developing strength, conditioning, and injury prevention strategies. Duties and FunctionsDevelop and execute training programs to improve strength, endurance, and overall fitness of clients or athletes.Monitor and evaluate clients' performance and progress, providing necessary adjustments to training plans.Educate clients on effective exercise techniques and safety protocols.Maintain clear and accurate records of training sessions and client progress.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.Minimum of 3 years of relevant SCC experience (waivers possible for veterans, military spouses, or specific internship/assistant experience).Current NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC certification.Current BLS certification.RequirementsAny of the following:A citizen of the United StatesA noncitizen national of the United StatesA lawful permanent residentAn alien authorized to work in the United States Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)Knowledge-Strong understanding of strength and conditioning principles.SkillExcellent communication and motivational skills to instruct and encourage clients.AbilityAbility to adapt training techniques to individual needs.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position may not typically include supervisory roles but involves directing individual or group training sessions.Work Environment/ConditionTraining conducted in diverse environmental conditions, including outdoor settings with varying climates.Ability to work in spaces with potential exposure to noise and movement-related hazards.Physical DemandsMust be capable of lifting weights up to 45 pounds and performing physical activities under various weather conditions. $500/ Year for Professional Development Pay Rate: $32.70/hrAcknowledgementLoyal Source is an Orlando-based workforce solutions provider dedicated to delivering elite services worldwide.
