Travel Physical Therapist (13-Week Contract) – West Lafayette, INPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in West Lafayette, Indiana. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive evaluative and rehabilitative services to patients under physician direction. The patient population includes individuals undergoing both non-operative care and post-operative recovery, particularly related to spine and extremity conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician protocolsImplement pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation programsDeliver therapeutic interventions focused on improving mobility, strength, and functionAccurately document all treatments, patient progress, and status updates in the EMR systemMonitor patient progress and identify changes in condition, reporting findings to physicians and nursing staffCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of careEducate patients on their condition, recovery process, and rehabilitation goalsCommunicate effectively with family members regarding patient progress and independence in daily living activitiesParticipate in departmental quality assurance and internal auditsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environmentManage and coordinate daily patient schedulingQualificationsBachelor's degree in a science-related field required; Master's degree in Physical Therapy preferredActive Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana required1–2 years of clinical Physical Therapy experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and within a team-oriented environmentAssignment Details13-week travel contractOpportunity for extension based on performance and facility needsFull-time scheduleScheduleMonday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMTuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMWednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMThursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMFriday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM8-hour shifts, Monday–FridayAssignment Details13-week travel contractWeekly Pay: $2,339Opportunity for extension based on performance and facility needsFull-time position
