Production Lead

B Shift - Sun-Tues 6pm-6am and Every Other WednesdayJob duties include but are not limited to:Practice good safety, quality, and housekeeping. (Follow procedures in orientation manual.)Coordinate and oversee the work activities of workers to accomplish safety, quality, and production standards. This includes all assigned job positions.Supports or assists the shift supervisor.Monitor employees' job performances to achieve quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.Nurture and promote a team environment where individuals are treated with dignity and respect as they are working to reach a common goal.Ensure that the process is set up and ready for production to start on time.Ensures that analytical, temperatures, salt, and other customer requirements are within limits. Following SOPs.Ensure shrink (yield) standards are met by monitoring stickers, reporting rejects, performing scale checks, and reporting excessive water/ice from suppliers.Completes BOL's/COA's and provide proper documentation for shipment.Complete all required paperwork and check for accuracy. If correct, place papers in designated area.Paperwork includes Accountability Check list PPE Accountability & Graph chart if applies.Perform security/sanitation checks of trailers, process equipment, tankers, etc.Monitors man-hours to exceed production goals that will achieve maximum efficiencies for the plant.Manages the departments during the absence of the shift supervisor.Provides feedback and suggestions for management at specified meetings or as situations dictate.Essential Qualifications/Experience:Possess excellent leadership skills, especially strong communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a high level of accountability and autonomy.Proven good attendance habits.Team playerNice to have:Taken Leadership training classes.Taken KT Training class
