Maintenance Technician I
Princeton Property Management is looking for a Maintenance Tech I for the Rockwood Park and Greenwood Park Apartments located in Salem!
This would be an ideal opportunity to learn and grow your experience in property maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years' experience in minor maintenance, grounds and is self-driven, has great customer service, communication and the ability to take direction.
40 hours a week M-F. Wage is $22 to $24 an hour depending on experience.

Mandatory Responsibilities for all onsite employees:
Adhere to State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and Princeton Property. Management policies as set forth in the Onsite Employee Handbook and training materials.
Responsible to adhere to all company policies on the property.
Must obtain lead-based certification where applicable.
Maintain clean exterior grounds, including adjacent streets or other property that impacts curb appeal daily.
Maintain common areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, pressure washing, painting, and all other related duties as assigned.
Maintain parking lots, including curb sweeping and painting curbs, speed bumps, fire hydrants, etc.
Empty all trash receptacles, clean dumpster areas.
Complete apartment make-ready process.
Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and thorough manner.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop always.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance duties and inspections as required.
Always deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism with residents, colleagues, and vendors.
Assist with on-call and emergency duties.
Perform minor landscaping duties, snow and ice removal, and other seasonal tasks.
Work required number of hours each week; any additional hours must be.
Punctuality and attendance are an essential function of this job because of the nature of the
Position.
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Minimum Requirement of the Job:
Legally able to work in United States
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pass a thorough background check
Able to speak, read and write English competently
Possess a valid driver license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle
Possess your own tools
Computer proficient,
Ability to learn company software programs
Must possess basic hand and power tools and the knowledge to use them
Must pass Maintenance Test with a score of 70% or more
One or more years of property maintenance-related work experience
Able to handle basic maintenance and troubleshoot more extensive maintenance issues
Work independently and/or with others
Lift, carry, pull, or push 25-50 lbs.
Climb stairs, step stools or ladders up to 6 ft. high, twist, crouch, or kneel
Spend extended periods of time standing
Walk on even or uneven surfaces
Use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, squeeze and manipulate
Tolerate changes in weather and be able to complete tasks
Willing to respond to emergency calls when required
